The exercise was to do a sketch to catch movement, which I chose to do of my husband and his dance teacher as they began to dance tango. The first shows the preparation before they start dancing, where he presents his arms and invites her to step in and take hold, he was not moving therefore, she was walking towards him, and I asked them to do this slowly. The other sketches were done as they danced, and at specific times I asked them to slow down or stop for a moment in pose.

I am quite happy with the results, it does look as if they are dancing, and I think I'm getting faster and more accurate with proportions. Looking back now, I probably could have made more experimental marks to give more sense of movement.
