For this one I decided to focus on the beauty around Trafalgar Square in London, and during my second trip to the National Gallery I took the opportunity to go round the Square sketching anything that caught my eye. Such as the entrance to Charing Cross tube on the corner with the Strand, where people were going in an out, and I managed to capture the shape of one person going down the stairs which I felt pleased about as they were all in such a hurry.

Then I went to the opposite side and saw the beautiful Admiralty pub with its multiple architectural details and did a quick sketch of one of the balcony windows on the second floor. Then a second one more carefully of the ground and first floors of the building façade, and finally another quick pen and ink one of the ornamental features in the roof which I coloured at home later.
